The Kangal is a giant mastiff strong enough to deter predators like wolves and bears. This large shepherd originates from Turkestan. Depending on upbringing and environment, this breed can be a family’s best friend or worst nightmare. Kangals are protective yet usually gentle when calm. Their bite force is said to reach 743 psi, and they will defend if they sense danger.
