One of the things that visitors are advised to plan ahead for is transportation. Using private transportation, such as taxis, can rapidly get pricey, even for natives. In these cases, the public transit system is quite helpful.

Even though Kyiv's public transportation system can occasionally be very complex, particularly if you're not used to it, it is typically fairly affordable. Each trip costs roughly thirty cents, and you can make practically three trips for a dollar. However, if you travel frequently or plan to stay in the city for an extended period of time, we do advise obtaining a smart transportation card.
